e.l.f Brow Soap
They say eyebrows are the one facial feature that “frame” the face, and I couldn’t agree more, a good set of brows can transform a face!
I’ve always loved the look of a perfectly laminated brow but have never been able to a achieve it without a salon treatment, my brow hairs just won’t cooperate and finding a product that will keep them in place all day just seemed impossible. I have tried all the brow gels and pomades under the sun but nothing seems to be able to give what it is I am looking for.
Until now…
This brow soap by e.l.f kept popping up on my FYP during my endless doom scrolls on TikTok, and I really wanted to know if it was worth all the hype. It did take me a few days to figure out how to really get the product to work best for me, but once I did it was really easy to get an all day hold to style my brows!
Here’s what I did:
Start with clean brows…
Without any help my eyebrows aren’t unruly by any means, but they don’t give that really groomed and laminated effect I wish I had naturally.
Get your brow brush wet…
Dampen your brow tool with water run it back forth on the brow soap until you see your brush begin to get sudsy, then run brush through brows in the opposite direction of your hair growth.
Begin to style…
Start combing brows in preferred direction. I used to attempt to get each brow hair to stand straight up, but now I try to follow the natural growth pattern of brow hairs.
Continue combing…
Repeated brushing will allow the product to build and start to take hold
Clean & Set…
Once I see my brow hairs starting to stay in the direction I want, I simply run my finger firmly over the brow so seal down the hairs and remove excess product.
Add makeup, or not…
Brows should definitely be set in place after this so feel free to continue on with your beauty routine as usual. Although, a groomed set of eyebrows is a statement on its own and I do think this product can give enough hold to not need any further steps once applied.
So, once again I was pleasantly surprised by e.l.f, this was only $6 so I didn’t have expectations that were too high but this one really gets the job done! It can leave a bit of residue when you’re really trying to build up the product so I recommend doing this before applying any other makeup, other than that there are no complaints from on this one!
What do you think??
