Surreal Skin Foundation from Makeup by Mario

It was all the girlies showing this foundation in their Sephora hauls for the last few weeks for me. I do love the way this talented man does makeup and the looks he’s created for celebrities over the years are iconic, so of course this foundation is gorgeous. When I took this out of its box and and saw the soft shimmer that the foundation had in it I got so excited! I just knew it was going to give such a luminous effect.

The coverage is medium and definitely buildable. When I am applying my own makeup I don’t a set routine, I go back and forth between applying concealer before foundation and some days after, other days not at all. If you do wear concealer with this one I’d suggest applying your concealer first. Once this foundation is on you’d want to set it pretty fast to maintain the radiant look it gives. Too much fussing on top of this foundation will probably take away from its intended look.

There’s 30 shades to choose from in this line and with the coverage being on the softer side you have a little more wiggle room when it comes to color matching for your skin. I chose a 15N for my own, it was the last one in the store! Most of the colors were sold out, so if that doesn’t tell ya something IDK what will!
