The Return of the Bucket Hat

It’s back! Just like every other trend from the late 90’s and early 2000’s…. the Bucket Hat has arrived. I’m into it. I always thought this hat was cute back in the day and it was just trendy enough for me, in my preteen era, to be too intimidated to wear it, or know how to style it. Matter of fact, I’m still not too confident in the styling of this hat but… it’s a new year and we dgaf!

What really sealed the deal was when I saw Rihanna in a cute ass, more oversized, furry hat.  Of course I wanted to just copy her entire look but she had the usual sweater or coat slung off the shoulders, noticeable accessories and…. a big ol’ cute bucket hat.   

I love the trend, very reminiscent of a time when fashion wasn’t so stiff and uniform. Baggy clothes mixed with cropped clothes, funky hats, platform shoes, and what we thought was a futuristic take on makeup!

In conclusion, I guess the point of this post is to show you this cute hat from Amazon, mention my slight Rhianna obsession, and once again bring up that 90’s/Y2K fashion is my fav!
